Philippine Electrical Code – Scope

Philippine Electrical Code

The Philippine Electrical Code has two (2) parts. The scope of PEC 1 is defined in Section 1.0.1.2(a) while Philippine Electrical Code 2 (PEC 2), Section 1.1.2(b) states

The PEC 2 covers utility facilities and functions up to service point.

PEC 2 also defined service point as

Service Point. The point of connection between the facilities of the servicing utility and the wiring.

Despite the very clear definition of the scope of each part of the Philippine Electrical Code, a question may arise when the service point voltage is above 600V, that is the service point connection voltage is 13.8kV or 34.5kV?
