I still remember this seminar "Low Harmonic and RFI Solutions, High Power and Medium Voltage Motor Control" provided by Power Electronics for free and presented by Lalo Salvo. It is one of the few seminars where fundamental principles are presented to understand better the issues and solutions of harmonics and RFI. I admire Lalo for his technical presentation. He is truly an expert in this field.
Other companies doing the same presentations are 95% product promotions and 5% principles. When you ask them technical questions not specific to their product, they will not be able to provide a direct answer. In this case, Power Electronics or Lalo are at the opposite end of the spectrum. They promote their product but provide technical explanations on the design of their product.
After their presentation, I would be very happy to recommend their product in the project that I will get involved with.
